Without thinking, Harry pushes the button again. The scared little monkey comes flying over the fence. It safely lands in a small bush. At the same time, the wire on Harry’s wristband breaks.

“This is bad,” Harry says. “Real bad.”

“What are we going to do?” Macy asks.

“We have to fix this,” Harry says. “And we have to do it fast.”

“How?” Macy asks.

“Just follow me,” Harry says.

CHAPTER 5

THE BANANA

Harry runs over to the little monkey. Macy is close behind him. The monkey is all tangled up in the wire and the bush.

Harry quickly untangles the monkey. Then he gives him a banana. The little monkey doesn’t look scared anymore.

“Do you always carry around a banana?” Macy asks.

“I do when I’m going to the zoo,” Harry says. “You never know when you might need it.”
